Program Information
The Sunfish Program at Camp is divided into three different groups.

Scout Campers
Scout Campers are up to age 5 and spend their days enjoying all Camp has to offer with age approriate activities and small group supervision.

Opti Campers
Our Opti Campers are children who are six years old and spend their time at our co-ed Day Camp Program at Seafarer. This program begins after breakfast and ends before dinner Monday through Friday of each week.

Sunfish Campers
Sunfish Campers are those who are of Overnight Camp age (7+). Camp will place your child in either a 2 week or 4 week cabin; our priority will be to create a cohesive cabin group that has like aged campers. Campers will join the cabin from breakfast through bedtime, returning to your living quarters for the night.

Staff/ Volunteers who work at opposing locations are responsible for drop off and pick up of children at their program site.



Pricing and Payment
The Sunfish Program is free for all Camp Sea Gull and Seafarer staff and volunteers.

If your Sunfish Camper is 13 years old or older, the YMCA will withold applicable taxes from your paycheck at an estimated amount of $40 per week of service.
 


Cancellations and Refunds
In order to avoid tax implications for your Sunfish Program benefit, Camp must receive a written cancellation 2 weeks prior to your start date.  Non-attendance, without written notice, does not relieve you of the responsibility to pay for the taxable portion of this program benefit.
